Lincoln, NE - SDS2 by ALLPLAN, a leading provider of steel detailing software, has established a new partnership with Nhance Consulting Engineers to provide localized sales, support and training to the steel construction market in India.
Nhance, located in Hyderabad, provides multidisciplinary design services in the oil and gas and water and irrigation industries, as well as infrastructure and building sectors.
“With experience in a range of sectors, Nhance engineers understand practical design considerations and how best to apply software solutions to solve the design and construction constraints,” said Prasad Nadipalli, Director of Nhance. “This same experience will be useful in communicating the benefits of SDS2 to prospective customers, as well as in providing training and support.”
Nhance is authorized to sell both an India-specific version of SDS2 to support local steel construction and a North American version commonly used by outsourced detailing companies.
The new partnership comes at a time when structural steel construction in India is growing rapidly, creating an urgent need for more talent and skills in the areas of steel design and drawing production.
“Currently a lot of drawing production is being done in 2D,” Nadipalli said. “SDS2 provides an affordable design solution that radically improves the productivity of the design and CAD team while also helping generate more accurate and easier-to-construct production drawings.”
SDS2 has already begun to increase its presence in India; since early 2023, they have added six authorized training centers in strategic locations throughout the country. Partnering with Nhance will further increase SDS2’s capacity to reach and support customers across the country.
